Osun State University Faculty of Social Science planning a Big Final Year Dinner night.

As a usual custom of all departments, final year students of each department do organize dinner night   to celebrate the end of their Undergraduate program.

This year own seems different in Osun State University Faculty of Social Science (FASSA) . The Faculty is planning a joint dinner night for all its  departments . The departments under FASSA include : Geography,Economics, Political Science, and Sociology.

Our team find out that preparation is already going on , and the Faculty is planning to make the dinner night an interesting and memorable one.

We also find out that the dinner night is basically for the Final year Students and awards will also be given to those that deserve it.

The date is not fixed yet but keep checking our website for the date.

Osun State University Nigeria University Accounting Students Association (NUASA ) President Accused of making other departments inferior.

Information reaching us revealed that the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria( ICAN) visit Osun State University Okuku Campus for Accreditation.

During the Accreditation process, the Institute members visit Nuasa office in which they have some words with Nuasa executives and also held that the office jointly shared by Accounting(Nuasa) and Banking and Finance(Bafinsa) executives should be meant for Accounting (Nuasa) alone. After the completion of the accreditation on Friday,  Banking and Finance Executives had meeting in the said  Nuasa office . 

Investigation shows that an executive of Banking and Finance( Bafinsa) met Nuasa President after there meeting and said the statement "YOU MAKE OUR STUDENTS FEEL INFERIOR"

Osun State University Faculty of Law, Ifetedo Campus invites renowned Nigeria lawyer Femi Falana as guest speaker . Mr Falana will discuss the topic "JUSTICIABILITY OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC RIGHTS IN NIGERIA" .

The event will hold on Wednesday January 20,2016 at Osun State University College of Law, Ifetedo Campus.

Other invited Personality include the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola who is to serve as the special guest of honour.

Lady Justitial Statutes erected in Osun State University Faculty of Law

Yesterday 7th of January 2016, was a glorious day in Osun State University Faculty of law, Ifetedo Campus as they erect the Statute of the great Lady Justitial in there campus.           Our Correspondence gathered that the statute was sponsored by the graduating students in the law school .

They were the first set of law students in Osun State University.                 (see pictures below).
